CNN did a story today stating how women make less than men starting right after college. Men value their contributions to work more than women. Women value their work less, and don't seem to know their value unless someone praises it. Women bully more than men in the workplace. Men create the glass ceiling but women maintain it, as one participant said/wrote. The comment is startling. In a time when women are fighting for equality and equal pay, we have the pink elephant problem of women being inhuman to other women. Most people, men and women because women are considered to be more difficult to work for and please. This makes me think back to school and how the social politics began, who is popular, who is not and who has social power. For our children's sake, for women's dignity, it behooves all of us, to work on these issues so the next generation of women do not suffer like the current one.
